Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-70 Near Arrowhead Stadium Leaves One Dead, Two Critically Injured
KANSAS CITY, MO — A multi-vehicle crash on eastbound I-70 near Arrowhead Stadium occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, resulting in one fatality and two critical injuries.
Authorities reported that the collision involved three vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency responders from the Kansas City Fire Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were on-site to provide medical assistance and manage the incident.
As a result of the crash, all eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed for several hours while crews cleared the wreckage. Towing services were also deployed to remove the vehicles involved.
