Lisbon, CT — A two-car accident on Interstate 395 early Saturday morning left one driver dead and another with minor injuries.
The collision occurred around 2:41 a.m., closing both directions of the highway. According to State Police, Keith Mutch, one of the drivers, was pronounced dead at the scene after being separated from his vehicle and found in the center median.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Emergency response included medical aid and law enforcement agencies.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad is actively investigating the incident. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Troop E in Montville.
