Motorcyclist Killed in East Valley Crash Thursday Evening

LAS VEGAS, NV — A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a Freightliner Propane Truck on East Cheyenne Avenue and Lincoln Road shortly after 6:29 p.m. on Thursday.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), the crash occurred when the truck turned left into the path of the Triumph Street Triple RS . Investigators determined the overturned as the truck came to a controlled stop.

Emergency medical personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, marking the 44th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD's jurisdiction in 2026. The deceased's identity has not yet been released.

Authorities confirmed the Freightliner driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. The LVMPD has initiated an investigation into the incident. Drivers are advised to avoid the area due to ongoing road closures.
