GEORGETOWN, June 19 — A three-vehicle crash on Highway 2 resulted in one fatality and two injuries early this morning.

According to the authorities, the collision occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. near Mile Marker 15. Emergency responders from the Georgetown Fire Department and local law enforcement arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.

One individual was at the scene, while two others were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Their conditions have not been disclosed.

The crash involved a sedan, an , and a pickup truck, authorities said. Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation.

Westbound lanes of Highway 2 were closed for several hours as cleanup and investigations were conducted. Tow trucks were on site to remove the vehicles involved.
