SLIDELL, La. — Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in St. Tammany Parish that occurred Thursday at approximately 3 a.m.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Gavin Dietrich of Slidell was traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 11 near North Lakeview Drive when he lost control. He exited the roadway, entered a gravel parking lot, and went over an embankment.
Dietrich was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
