COVINGTON, La. — A Georgia man was killed in a two-car crash on Friday afternoon in St. Tammany Parish.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. on U.S. Highway 190, east of LA Highway 1077. According to Louisiana State Police (LSP), Muhammad Connor, 26, of Snellville, Georgia, was riding a dirt bike on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 190 when he collided with a Toyota Tacoma that was making a right turn into a private driveway.
Connor sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was reported uninjured.
Authorities indicated that the investigation is ongoing.
