Eugene, OR – July 4, 2026, 4:30 p.m. A motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle at the intersection of Royal Avenue and Legacy Street.
According to the Eugene Springfield Fire Department, emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries but later succumbed.
The identities of both the motorcyclist and the driver are not yet publicly disclosed. The Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation team is conducting an investigation into the incident.
