JOHNSTOWN, Wis. (WKOW) — A 44-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Sunday morning in the Town of Johnstown.
Nathaniel D. Sharpe of Delavan was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Rock County Medical Examiner's Office. The incident occurred at approximately 6:31 a.m. on E CTH A, east of N CTH M.
Authorities reported that Sharpe was riding a Honda motorcycle eastbound when he failed to navigate a sweeping left curve. The motorcycle struck a mailbox and a power pole, resulting in Sharpe being ejected from the vehicle.
Speed was identified as a contributing factor in the crash. The Rock County Sheriff's Office and the Walworth County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
