Milwaukee Man Dies in Prairie du Sac Crash

TOWN OF PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. — A Milwaukee man died in a crash on Highway 60 Monday evening, according to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office.

The collision occurred just before 6 p.m. near the intersection with Ferry Bluff Road. Authorities reported that a westbound Subaru attempted to pass another vehicle and crossed into the eastbound lane, colliding with an eastbound Ford sedan.

Craig W. Lowry, 45, was at the scene. The driver of the Subaru, a 70-year-old man from Seattle, Washington, was transported to the hospital for injuries.

Emergency responders remained on the scene to assist with the investigation. Further details regarding lane closures and vehicle towing were not immediately available.
