OKLAHOMA CITY – One person was hospitalized following a crash Tuesday morning on Northwest Expressway, according to police.
The Oklahoma City Police Department reported that a vehicle was exiting a parking lot into the eastbound lanes near North Council Road when the driver experienced a medical episode. The vehicle then veered into oncoming traffic and was struck by another vehicle.
Emergency responders transported the driver who suffered the medical episode to a local hospital; the other driver was unharmed. Authorities have not released names at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, and no lane closures were reported.
