COLUMBUS, Ohio — Seven people, including five children, were critically injured in a three-vehicle crash near Morse Road and Sundance Drive at 7:15 a.m. Friday.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, a white Toyota Highlander traveling westbound on Morse Rd. crossed left of center and struck a blue Ford Escape head-on.
Authorities said the impact caused the Ford Escape, which had been traveling eastbound alongside a white Genesis G70, to collide with the Genesis.
Police said two adults and five children were transported to area hospitals in critical condition; the five children were riding in the same vehicle.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and includes examining whether sun glare was a factor.
