
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — A two-vehicle collision occurred on May Avenue near NW 36th Street at approximately 2:41 p.m. today.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, one vehicle ended up 20 feet down in a concrete spillway, necessitating the use of a specialized rope haul system for rescue operations.
Two individuals were extricated from the vehicles and transported to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities reported that May Avenue was closed in both directions during the rescue efforts, which have since concluded.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
