STILLWATER, Okla. – Two residents died in a head-on collision near Highway 177 early Sunday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported the incident occurred shortly after midnight when a 17-year-old boy was speeding on a motorcycle without lights. The youth struck a curb, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a car head-on.
The driver of the car, a 78-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the teen also succumbed to injuries from the crash.
Names of the individuals involved have not yet been released.
The collision remains under investigation.
