Maryland Man Charged in Fatal I-95 Crash.

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. — A 21-year-old man died following a crash on I-95 on Wednesday, Oct. 5, around 8:30 p.m.

The incident occurred near the 110-mile marker. According to Virginia State Police, Joseph C. Yost, III, 38, was driving at a high speed in the center lane when he collided with a Camaro, disabling its lights and forcing it into the right lane, where it was struck by a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the Camaro, Zane P. Jackson of Montpelier, was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two teenage passengers sustained serious injuries.

Yost has been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and . Both Yost and the tractor-trailer driver were uninjured in the collision.

All drivers involved had valid licenses and are confirmed legal citizens, authorities said.
