WEST HAVEN, Utah (KUTV) — A man was killed in a rollover crash in West Haven on Friday morning.
According to Lt. Sean Endsley with the Weber County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. when a westbound driver on 21st Street passed through an I-15 intersection on a yellow light, colliding with a vehicle turning north.
The impact caused the westbound vehicle to roll off the road. The driver, identified only as an adult male, was declared dead at the scene. Authorities are withholding his identity pending family notification.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained no significant injuries. The crash led to delays during the morning commute, but the scene has since been cleared.
The Weber Metro Crash Team is investigating the cause of the incident and is examining speed as a potential factor.
