SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Scioto County.
The incident occurred just after 10:30 a.m. on Colley Road in Rush Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that Joseph Maynard, 40, of McDermott, Ohio, was driving a vehicle that crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle head-on. Maynard was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash.
