ASHLAND, Ky. (WCHS) — Four people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Ashland on Monday evening.
According to emergency dispatchers, two victims were airlifted from the scene for medical treatment. The incident occurred at approximately 6:01 p.m. at the intersection of Boy Scout Road and Azalea Drive.
Authorities reported that first responders arrived quickly to assist the injured. The vehicle was reported to have sustained significant damage.
Traffic in the area was affected, and lane closures were implemented during the emergency response, but have since been lifted.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
