May 19, 2026 — A Cuyahoga County woman, MacKenzie Shirilla, remained in an Ohio prison as she seeks to overturn her conviction tied to a 2022 Strongsville crash.
According to authorities, Shirilla, 21, was the driver in a crash on July 31, 2022, in the Strongsville area near Cleveland.
Authorities said passengers Dominic Russo, 20, and Davion Flanagan, 19, died in the crash.
According to published reports, the case is the focus of a new Netflix documentary.
