Spokane County, WA. – A 13-year-old child was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Rosalia.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened on US Highway 195 near milepost 68.
A Mazda CX 50 reportedly crashed into a semi-truck and trailer that had jackknifed across the northbound lanes.
The Mazda was pushed into the other northbound lane, where it crashed into two other cars.
The trailer of the semi-truck struck another semi-truck trailer, pushing it into a rock wall.
A 13-year-old passenger of one of the Mazda was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The 44-year-old Pullman man who was driving the Mazda was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
