WILLISTON, N.D. — A 23-year-old man from Wyoming has died following a crash involving a pedestrian on Highway 1804 early Friday, June 12.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident occurred when a 1993 GMC Sierra traveling westbound struck the pedestrian walking along the roadway.
The injured man was initially taken to CHI St. Alexius in Williston and later transferred to Trinity Hospital in Minot, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Sierra, a 19-year-old man from Westby, Montana, has been charged with criminal vehicular injury, driving under the influence, and minor in possession.
Authorities noted that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
