NORTH CAROLINA—A crash on October 14 at approximately 8:30 p.m. resulted in three fatalities on Highway 123 near Elm Street.

Authorities reported that a black SUV collided with a sedan, causing significant damage and ejecting the occupants from the vehicle. The three deceased victims, identified as two men and one woman, were at the scene.

Emergency responders from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and local police arrived shortly after the incident. Medical aid was provided to one surviving passenger, who was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
