Southbound Lanes of Hwy. 100 Reopen After Fatal Crash Near I-494
BLOOMINGTON, MN – Southbound lanes of Highway 100 have reopened near I-494 following a deadly crash on Wednesday morning, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
A Honda Odyssey was traveling south on Hwy. 100 when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over and strike the I-494 bridge. The incident occurred near the exit ramp at Exit 7B to Normandale Blvd.
Officials have identified the victim as 18-year-old Mason Traill Drummond of Bloomington. The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash.
No additional injuries were reported, and the lanes were reopened after emergency responders conducted their work at the scene.
