A Florida woman died in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 82 in Tuscaloosa County on Sept. 16.
Ariel S. Burcham, 24, of Valrico, was driving a 2026 Kia K4 when her vehicle collided head-on with a 2013 Ford F150 pickup driven by Kenneth P. Fields, 39, of Northport, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Burcham was pronounced dead at the scene, while Fields sustained injuries and was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
The accident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near the 59-mile marker, approximately five miles east of Tuscaloosa.
No additional details have been released. ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the incident.
