OCALA, Fla. (CBS12) — Two Ocala teens were arrested Saturday for separate social media-driven incidents involving a leaf blower and a lawnmower, police reported.

According to the Ocala Police Department, Janek Szkaradek and Luke Charske, both 18, were taken into custody following disturbances reported at local businesses. On Friday, Szkaradek allegedly caused a disruption with a leaf blower inside a Culver's on SW College Road, raising safety concerns for staff and patrons.

The next day, Szkaradek drove a lawnmower into the entrance of a Target store while Charske filmed the event, authorities said.

Szkaradek faces charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, while Charske is charged with disorderly conduct for his role in recording the incident.

“These are crimes, not harmless videos,” an Ocala Police Department spokesperson remarked, emphasizing the serious legal repercussions of such acts. They urged individuals to reconsider the implications of filming stunts that may endanger others or cause property damage.
