Arlington Police Investigate Fatal Truck Crash on I-30
Arlington, TX – A fatal crash involving a single vehicle occurred Tuesday night on I-30, resulting in the death of a 46-year-old man.
The incident transpired at approximately 7:34 p.m. in the westbound lanes near Fielder Road. Authorities reported that the driver lost control of a flatbed truck, which veered off the highway, struck a light pole, and hit a guardrail. The truck then rolled down a hill and landed on its roof.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported. Police indicated that the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and believe he may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. The investigation is ongoing, and no lane closures were reported following the incident.
