ENC Fire Departments Respond to Multiple Vehicle Fires.

Fire departments in Eastern North Carolina responded to multiple incidents on Tuesday, including a and a crash.

The Blounts Creek Volunteer Fire Department arrived at 9:19 a.m. to a in the Travel Store parking lot at Cox's Crossroads. Crews found a single vehicle ablaze and quickly extinguished the fire, which originated under the rear portion near the fuel tank. No injuries were reported, according to authorities.

The Hill Rural Fire Department assisted the Jason Volunteer Fire Department and Shine Fire Department with a motor vehicle crash on Mitchell Road. Officials reported that a single vehicle rolled over and became fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews secured the scene and extinguished the fire; all occupants exited the vehicle without injury.

No serious injuries were reported across any of the incidents. Investigations into the causes of both the vehicle fire and the crash are ongoing, authorities said.
