INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) — Alexander Rossi, an NTT IndyCar Series driver, sustained minor injuries during a crash at Indy 500 practice on Monday.
According to a statement from ECR, Rossi underwent successful outpatient procedures for injuries to his left hand and right ankle.
His recovery will be monitored, with the intention of participating in final practice on Friday, known as Carb Day. The team is preparing a backup car for the event.
