COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A head-on collision in Bartholomew County near Northcliff resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury on Monday.
At 12:41 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the 5000 block of East County Road 600 North after reports of a crash involving two vehicles, with occupants trapped inside.
Upon arrival, authorities found one driver deceased. The passenger in the other vehicle also died, while the driver was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition.
The identities of the victims have not been released. The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
