KAPOLEI, HI — A man in his 50s was seriously injured in an e-bike accident this morning, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.
The incident occurred at 9 a.m. near Kamokila Boulevard when the man lost control and fell over the handlebars. He was not wearing a helmet at the time.
EMS personnel treated the man for significant upper body injuries before transporting him to an emergency room in serious condition. No further details on his identity or the circumstances of the crash have been released.
