Driver hospitalized following single-vehicle rollover crash in Meigs County, according to firefighters.

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WCHS) — A crash in Meigs County on Friday morning left one driver .

Authorities reported the incident occurred along Route 143 near Humphreys Drive in Salisbury Township at approximately 10:15 a.m. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, crossed a creek bank, and landed on its roof.

The driver was to a hospital in Huntington for medical treatment. In addition, multiple animals were transported to a veterinarian for care, while one dog remains unaccounted for.

Emergency response involved Pomeroy Fire Department, Meigs County EMS, sheriff's deputies, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. There were no reports of lane closures or additional injuries. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
