HILLSBOROUGH CO., Fla. — A 29-year-old man from Riverview died in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Oct. 6 as the man was driving westbound on the entrance ramp from Fowler Ave. Authorities reported that he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway, overturn several times, and collide with a tree.
As the vehicle rolled over, the driver was ejected and suffered fatal injuries, dying at the scene.
The FHP is investigating the crash, and no further details have been released regarding the circumstances or potential contributing factors.
