DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A 78-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a collision on Jog Road on August 26, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Tudor Ticiu was driving south in the left turning lane on Jog Road when he attempted to turn left into a Publix parking lot. He failed to yield to oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with a northbound 2004 Chevrolet. The front of the Chevrolet struck the side of Ticiu's 2024 GMC.
Emergency responders transported Ticiu to Delray Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries on September 13. The investigation is ongoing.
