SHREWSBURY, MA — A fatal crash occurred Monday morning on Route 20 at the intersection of Hartford Turnpike and Edgemere Boulevard.
Emergency responders arrived shortly before noon to a head-on collision involving a Ford F-250 with a trailer and a Honda Accord. A Kenworth oil tanker sustained secondary damage in the incident.
The driver of the Honda Accord was transported to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The individual's identity has not yet been released.
Authorities reported no additional injuries at this time.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
