Camden County 911 Dispatcher Dies in I-95 Traffic Accident
A Camden County Sheriff's Office Emergency 911 dispatcher was killed Saturday in a traffic accident on Interstate 95.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. near mile marker 34 in the northbound lanes. According to authorities, the dispatcher was involved in a collision with a commercial vehicle. Emergency responders from the Camden County Fire and Rescue and local law enforcement agencies arrived on the scene within minutes.
Witnesses reported that the dispatcher's vehicle sustained significant damage in the crash, which also resulted in one additional, non-fatal injury. Medical personnel provided aid at the scene before transportation to a nearby hospital.
All northbound lanes of I-95 were closed for several hours as crews conducted an investigation and cleared the wreckage. Authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
