PROVO, Utah — Two Utah County Sheriff's deputies crashed into a wrong-way vehicle early Saturday morning on I-15.
The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. when deputies responded to reports of a driver heading north in the southbound lanes. Authorities confirmed that the driver was located approximately six miles south of Provo.
One deputy struck the vehicle on the driver's side, causing it to spin out and collide with the second deputy's car. All three vehicles sustained damage; however, no injuries were reported among the deputies or occupants of the wrong-way vehicle.
The driver was arrested by the Utah Highway Patrol on suspicion of DUI. Further investigation is ongoing.
