Fatal Crash Identified in Sussex County

LEWES, DE — A 26-year-old man, Anthony Hunt, was from his truck in a fatal crash early April 26, according to Delaware State Police.

Hunt was driving a Ram south on Wil King Road, just south of Kendale Road, when the vehicle left the roadway around 12:20 a.m. Authorities reported that the truck entered a ditch, overturned onto its roof, and struck a tree. Hunt, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was from the vehicle.

Emergency responders transported Hunt to a nearby hospital, where he was . This incident marks one of 31 fatalities on Delaware's roadways this year, reflecting a 35% increase compared to 2025.
