Creswell Man Dies in Crash South of Eugene
May 23, 2026, 3:05 p.m. PT — A 49-year-old Creswell man died after his vehicle crashed into a tree just south of Eugene, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office.
Isaac Richard Aanrund was discovered unresponsive on May 21 at approximately 10 p.m. in the 32000 block of Dillard Loop. A caller reported the crash and the condition of the driver.
Emergency responders extricated Aanrund from the vehicle and transported him to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Pleasant Hill Fire, Goshen Fire, and South Lane Fire Departments responded to the incident. Sheriff's deputies are conducting an investigation into the crash.
