CINCINNATI, OH (WKRC) — A woman was arrested for driving under the influence with two young children in her vehicle before crashing into a utility pole on June 17.
Tiara Person, 34, is facing charges of endangering children, operating a vehicle under the influence, driving under a financial responsibility suspension, and failing to maintain reasonable control. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
According to authorities, the accident occurred near Cheviot Road. Investigators allege Person was impaired by alcohol and/or drugs while driving with two children under the age of 5.
The crash resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle and deployment of the airbags. Witnesses report that the incident posed a significant risk to the children’s safety.
