Car crashes into building in Brookline after reported hit-and-run
BROOKLINE, Mass. —
A vehicle collided with a building in Brookline on Tuesday night following a reported hit-and-run, according to police.
The crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m. at the intersection of High Street and Walnut Street.
Authorities received a 911 call about a hit-and-run incident involving two vehicles, one of which struck a building.
Officers on scene located both vehicles; the extent of injuries is currently undetermined.
Witnesses reported significant damage to the front and side of one vehicle. Both vehicles were subsequently towed.
At this time, it remains unclear if any charges will be filed.
Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
