JUPITER ISLAND, Fla. (CBS12) — Newly released bodycam footage sheds light on the events surrounding Tiger Woods' DUI arrest following a crash on March 27.

According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Woods' flipped after he attempted to pass a pickup truck towing a trailer, crossing double solid lines and striking the trailer. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported; however, the investigation revealed signs of impairment, including bloodshot eyes and lethargic movements.

Witnesses reported that Woods told deputies he was looking down at his phone and adjusting the radio just before the crash. In the bodycam footage, he is heard stating, “I looked down at my phone and all of a sudden…BOOM.”

Woods, who exhibited a noticeable limp and mentioned his history of back surgeries, was subjected to field sobriety tests where deputies noted his condition.
