JUPITER ISLAND, Fla. — On Tuesday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office is expected to release the arrest affidavit related to Tiger Woods' DUI arrest on Friday.
Woods was released from the Martin County Jail approximately eight hours after his arrest. He faces charges including DUI, property damage, and refusal to take a urine test.
Authorities reported that when law enforcement arrived at the scene around 2:41 p.m. on Friday, Woods appeared to be visibly impaired. Despite passing a breathalyzer test, he declined to provide a urine sample.
Sheriff John Budensiek noted that Woods was speeding on South Beach Road and collided with a pressure washing truck while attempting to overtake another vehicle on the narrow, two-lane road. Following the collision, Woods' Range Rover rolled over, and he exited through the passenger door.
Witnesses have indicated that aggressive driving is not uncommon on Beach Road, with some noting that the posted speed limit is 30 mph.
There is body camera footage documenting Woods' interaction with law enforcement at the scene, which is anticipated to be released later this week.
