Bicyclist dies after crash on Route 138 in Stoughton, DA says
STOUGHTON, Mass. —
A 39-year-old bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle on Route 138 early Tuesday morning, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. near 1378 Washington St. (Route 138).
The victim has been identified as Mark Salvador, a resident of Stoughton. He was discovered on the ground by Stoughton police officers and transported to a Boston hospital, where he was pronounced dead approximately one hour later.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash. It remains undetermined if the driver will face charges.
