One fatality and two airlifted in ATV crash near Pine, ISP reports.

PINE, ID – July 3, 2023 – A crash at the intersection of Lester Creek Road and Bombs Away Lane resulted in one fatality Friday night.

According to Idaho State Police, a 2026 Kawasaki ATV/UTV was traveling northbound on Lester Creek Road at 10:19 p.m. when it veered off the road and struck a tree. The vehicle came to rest in the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic for approximately four hours.

The 47-year-old male driver from Gooding, Idaho, was at the scene. Two passengers, a 33-year-old male and a 48-year-old male, also from Gooding, were transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.

All occupants were wearing safety harnesses at the time of the crash.

Authorities said Idaho State Police received assistance from Elmore County Deputies, Mountain Home EMS, Mountain Home Rescue, Pine EMS, and Pine Rescue. The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
