Teen motorcyclist sustains serious injuries in Floating Feather crash.

EAGLE, Idaho — A 16-year-old rider sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash on Tuesday afternoon at Floating Feather Road and Eagle Road, leading to a 3-hour road closure, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office.

Police reported that a 2010 S1000 was traveling westbound on W. Floating Feather Road when a 2005 Sienna, which was headed eastbound, turned right onto N. Downing Road, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.

Deputies and paramedics responded to the scene, providing lifesaving measures to the motorcycle rider, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The 54-year-old driver of the Sienna, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
