Two juveniles and one adult were hospitalized following a vehicle crash in Audrain County on Friday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 5:15 p.m. on MO 22 at Route Y, near Sturgeon.
According to the crash report, a 2017 Dodge Journey veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. The driver overcorrected, resulting in the vehicle overturning and ejecting two passengers.
An 11-year-old male from Columbia and a 34-year-old woman from Shelbina sustained serious injuries, while a 13-year-old female from Columbia sustained moderate injuries. All three were transported by ambulance to a hospital.
The driver, a 32-year-old woman from Shelbina, did not sustain any injuries.
MSHP confirmed the driver was wearing her seatbelt; however, the other three occupants were not.
