A two-vehicle crash in Gasconade County on Monday resulted in one injury.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Highway 50, east of 5th Street.
A 2023 Kia K5, traveling west, struck the rear of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck before veering off the roadway and colliding with a utility pole.
The 54-year-old driver of the Kia from Owensville suffered critical injuries and was transported to Washington Hospital.
Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
MSHP is investigating the incident, and there are no further details available regarding lane closures or additional vehicles involved.
