Fatal Crash in Attala County Under Investigation
ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. — A 59-year-old man was pronounced dead following a car crash on Highway 14 near County Road 5202 on Friday evening, September 20, 2025.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), John Sisney of Ethel, MS, lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the road and collided with multiple trees. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
MHP officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No additional injuries or details about other vehicles involved have been reported.
