COLUMBUS, Ohio — A crash involving a COTA bus and a pickup truck at Allegheny Avenue and Stelzer Road killed one person at 7:18 p.m. in Columbus.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers responded to the intersection at 7:18 p.m. for a reported two-vehicle collision.
Authorities said one person was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
An officer at the scene reported the bus was rear-ended by the pickup, and the bus driver was not at fault.
CPD said its Accident Investigation Unit responded and the crash remains under investigation.
No additional details, including lane closures or tows, were immediately released.
