MACCLESFIELD, N.C. — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday night along N.C. 124 in Edgecombe County.
According to the Macclesfield Rural Volunteer Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at 10:43 p.m. to the 5000 block of N.C. 124 following reports of a vehicle rollover with injuries.
Arriving crews found a vehicle overturned on its side in the front yard of a residence. The fire department indicated the vehicle sustained significant damage in the crash.
Fire department units 1335 and 1301 were deployed to the scene, with a total of 12 firefighters responding.
The extent of the injured person's condition has not been disclosed, and authorities have not confirmed the cause of the vehicle's departure from the roadway.
