LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One person is in critical condition following a crash involving a minibike and a pickup truck on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:33 p.m. at the intersection of Wisteria and Shawnee avenues, near Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Authorities reported that the minibike was traveling south on Wisteria Avenue while a 2019 Ram 1500 was heading north. The collision took place when the truck made a left turn as the minibike approached the intersection.
The rider of the minibike was transported to UMC's Trauma Center, where he is listed in life-threatening condition. The driver of the Ram remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
